Hand wash with warm, soapy water before initial use and between uses. Extended soaking is not recommended. Brush interior with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat before baking (a baking spray containing flour may also be used; avoid regular cooking spray). Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow. Avoid metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners on this beauty, and it will be something you can pass down to the next cake-loving generation!
